My serum has turned yellow/brown. Can I still use it?

A slight discoloration is normal with highly concentrated vitamin C and does not impair the effect. However, if the serum turns dark brown or cloudy and develops a strong odor, it has oxidized and should no longer be used. Storage in the refrigerator slows this process down considerably.

Can I combine the serum with AHA/BHA or retinol?

Be careful. The combination of highly concentrated vitamin C with other strong active ingredients can lead to irritation. We recommend using the products alternately (e.g. vitamin C in the morning, acids/retinol in the evening) or on different days.
