Other benefits
Because adenosine can also help improve wound healing, it is often used in products for sensitive or irritated skin. It relieves dark circles under the eyes and bags under the eyes by improving circulation around the eyes.
Use in cosmetic products
The ingredient is commonly used in anti-aging products aimed at tightening and rejuvenating the skin. It may also be included in products for sensitive or irritated skin to soothe inflammation and improve wound healing.
Manufacture
Adenosine is usually produced from yeast or microbial ferments. It is obtained by chemical synthesis from adenosine monophosphate, which in turn is generated from ATP (adenosine triphosphate), an important energy source for all living cells
Side effects or disadvantages
Adenosine is considered a safe and well-tolerated ingredient. However, for very sensitive skin types, even this ingredient may cause skin reactions such as redness and itching under certain circumstances.
